National Data Managers' Award is the qualification for those who lead on data. It recognises the skills and professional qualifications integral to using data to drive school performance.

Those who lead on data do much more than crunch numbers. They advise colleagues on using national frameworks on which to base estimates. They ensure that challenge and professional judgement are fed into setting targets. They analyse results to identify performance worthy of celebration and areas of concern.
This Edexcel –assured award recognises the skill and expertise of those with responsibility for data use and the contribution they make to raising student performance.
The award is open to all those with responsibility for data use and the contribution it makes to the strategic and operational objectives of the school, college or academy.
There are two options, each for the same award:
- National Data Managers Award Only – For those candidates who have the experience to complete the units with minimal support.
- National Data Managers Award Plus – This option includes online advice and mentoring to support candidates with their work towards the award.
