Become an SSAT approved licensed delivery partner
SSAT’s Enhancing teaching programme franchise offer is based on the proven TEEP methodology, with modules designed to help improve identified teaching and learning priorities within individual schools, SSAT offers a range of modules that address the short-term needs of students and teachers. All modules are centred around the core themes of collaboration, growth mindsets and the importance of changing habits.
The teaching and learning modules are categorised into two groups, those that focus on changing the habits of effective teaching and those for effective learners.
We are delighted to be able to offer the modules as a franchise programme. The programme will provide teaching schools and MATs the opportunity to become licence holders of a high quality teaching and learning training programme that can be flexibly adapted to the needs of your school and those you are working with.
Enhancing Teaching Programme (ETP) content and materials
The programme consists of 12 course modules delivering the foundations of successful teaching and learning. Each module is designed as a two hour training session and is ideally delivered as a twilight or modules can be combined over a half/full day. Modules are fully resourced and come with PowerPoint presentations, trainer notes and materials.
The module content is not intended as a one size fits all approach and SSAT recognises that no ‘off the shelf’ package will completely meet a school’s needs. We encourage licence holders to tailor materials in a way that suits their context and schools may choose to select, adapt and add to the content as most appropriate.

Delivery is flexible and a selection of modules can be chosen and configured, providing a personalised course to meet your specific requirements. For maximum impact, we encourage a series of modules to be delivered (if not all 12) over a prolonged period of one or more terms. This enables participants to both reflect on learning and put it into practice in a sustainable way.

ETP provides cost effective CPD and the opportunity for income generation
The 12 modules available within the programme can be delivered as cost-effective CPD to your own staff and/or be marketed commercially to other schools to provide a source of income generation for the school.
Licensing of the ETP is open to schools rated by Ofsted as good or outstanding. Licence applications will be considered on their merits and based on our existing geographical coverage.
Training can be delivered to group sizes of up to twenty participants.
SSAT has invested many years of experience and knowledge in developing the ETP modules and accreditation. The licence agreement and duration
