TEEP Practitioner (Level 1) course

London / Thursday 20 January 2022

TEEP is a pedagogical framework and training programme that brings together teachers from all subject areas and phases to validate existing good practice, reinvigorate their approach to teaching and learning and bring about a positive culture shift in their schools.

TEEP’s approach is research based and evidence informed, both validating and inspiring teaching practice across all settings. The TEEP approach puts the learner at the heart of the learning process, focusing on how to learn as much as what to learn. Lessons planned using the TEEP framework are stimulating, engaging, relevant and purposeful.

TEEP Practitioner course: The foundation for all staff, who will develop a rich understanding of the TEEP framework and how this influences the classroom domain.

Outcomes

Teachers at TEEP Practitioner level will:

  • Understand and enact the phases of the learning process described by the TEEP Cycle for all learners.
  • Develop a common language of learning which drives consistency across their school.
  • Apply a greater variety of evidence informed teaching and learning approaches in their practice.
  • Enable learners to achieve more and understand the learning process in greater depth.
  • Take the iterative steps to embed TEEP practice over time.
