Andrew is founder CEO of Victoria Academies, an established multi-academy trust in the West Midlands. As well as a sponsor, the trust also runs a SCITT (Central England Teacher Training) and a thriving social enterprise (@ballotstreet). As a headteacher of 19 years, Andrew has led several schools to outstanding, including from special measures. He has worked in schools in Liverpool, London and across the West Midlands, all in challenging circumstances.

Andrew is author of The Art of Standing Out and more recently contributed to The Working Class: Poverty, Education and Alternative Voices. He is an international speaker, a National Leader of Education, and Fellow of the RSA. For many years he chaired his children’s primary school governing body and is now a trustee on the MAT. Andrew blogs at and has written for the TES and Guardian but more often than not can be found on Twitter @AndrewDMorrish.
