Accredit your SSAT programme with 30 CATS exemption towards a masters degree at the University of Nottingham
SSAT is very pleased to be working in partnership with the University of Nottingham’s School of Education to support individuals who want to work towards masters accreditation. This relationship provides the opportunity for practitioners involved in SSAT programmes to progress onto an MA in Educational Leadership and Management or an MA in Education with the University of Nottingham. The university will accredit prior learning (APL) from approved SSAT programmes (currently the Leadership and Lead Practitioner programmes).
Applicants who are completing or have already completed one of the following SSAT programmes are eligible*. All applicants must also have successfully completed the SSAT Lead Practitioner accreditation**:
1. Leading Outstanding Schools
2. Next Generation Headteachers
3. Stepping up to Senior Leadership
4. National Award for Middle Leaders (NAML)
5. The Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement programme (TEEP)
6. The Lead Practitioner programme (taught)
Once completed applicants will receive APL exemption for 30 credits of study which can be used towards masters courses (including online study).

**Lead Practitioners who have been accredited within the past 3 years can apply for validation if they have completed one of the listed SSAT programmes
