    Your personal data

    “Personal data” means any information relating to an identifiable living person who can be directly or indirectly identified through that information. SSAT processes personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

    Specifically, in this context, your name, job title / role and contact details will be recorded in SSAT systems.

    The immediate purpose of this data processing is to:

    • Manage your booking
    • Record your participation in the Lead Practitioner Accreditation
    • To create an account for you in the LPA website, used for submission of your evidence

    Broader processing by SSAT is on the basis of SSAT’s legitimate interest to:

    • provide services to customers
    • market to potential customers
    • maintain network and information security
    • meet our legal obligations

    1. Registration procedure
      • By completing this online form you are supplying the details for the individuals, who will be taking part in the LP accreditation, to allow for their access to be set up on the online site, within 1 calendar month.
      • The details that will be required are name, job role, school/educational organisation, individual email address. (Please see Privacy Notice regarding data protection compliance below)
    1. Accreditation status, duration, support sessions and renewal
      • You have a period of up to two years from date of purchase, to complete your application.
      • You will be assigned to the next available national cohort support sessions unless you notify us of a preferred start date at the time of booking. Once assigned no changes will be made. All support sessions will be recorded and available to participants of their specific cohort.
      • Submission of each application takes place through a ‘gateway and moderation’ process. Deadlines for this are advertised to applicants on enrolment and on the LP website.  There are standardly two application gateways each calendar year, traditionally in June and November. This may be subject to change at SSAT discretion.
      • Upon submission of application, confirmation will be received by each individual and their application will go through the 6 week moderation process before the outcomes are announced.
      • If successful, the individual will receive notification of their success by email and awarding of the status of SSAT Lead Practitioner and certification.
      • If unsuccessful, the individual will receive notification by email. No part or full refunds will be applicable if any individual is deemed to have been unsuccessful
      • Once awarded accredited status lasts for 3 years and belongs to the individual themselves.
      • At the end of the three years each individual is welcome to resubmit for re-accreditation. Further information on the process for this will be available upon request.
    1. Termination of contract
      • By submitting this online registration form this contract is considered as a binding agreement and cannot be amended or cancelled, except in exceptional circumstances and with agreement by both parties.
    2. Fees
      • Each registration for the LP Accreditation will be invoiced by SSAT to the purchaser or their school as indicated. Individuals will not be invited to register on the LP site until relevant invoice(s) have been paid.
      • If an individual moves to a school other than the purchasing school, the individual can continue to complete the LP Accreditation with the permission of the purchasing school and the payment of an administration fee. This will not apply where an individual has purchased LP accreditation.
      • All fees published or quoted by SSAT are exclusive of VAT, VAT will be charged at the rate applicable at the date the contract is signed.
      • No refunds will be made for any unused registrations. Postponement of enrolment must be discussed and agreed in writing with SSAT and if agreed will incur an administration fee.
    1. Use of names, logo and devices
      • The words "SSAT Lead Practitioner" and related logo and device are registered trademarks.  Such marks, logo and device and the associated term “Lead Practitioner" may only be used by your school in direct connection with the SSAT’s LP programme running in your school, or with express permission in writing from SSAT.
    1. Miscellaneous
      • We have taken all reasonable efforts to ensure that all statements made in our brochures, website and marketing materials are materially correct at the time they were made. We cannot be held responsible or liable for any errors or omissions. Their content may also be altered at any time without notice.
      • We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and when doing so we will update the copy on the SSAT website
      • These Terms and Conditions and the Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Any disputes that arise under or in connection with it will be decided only by the English courts.
