Event terms and conditions
Purchases of SSAT CPD products including courses, training, consultancy services, resources or publications can be cancelled without charge within seven days of submitting a booking form, an order form or signed agreement unless:
- The customer has already attended or accessed the course, programme or service.
- The start date is within seven days of booking.
- The invoice has been paid, which will be deemed to be confirmation of the request or order.
Cancellation requests need to be made in writing by email.
Replacement delegates may be nominated in writing at any time prior to the start of a course.
If, for any reason, SSAT needs to cancel the CPD purchased, customers will be notified in writing and fees, if paid, will be fully refunded. SSAT will not reimburse any pre-booked travel costs for cancelled events.
A request from the customer to change the agreed delivery date(s) may be treated as a cancellation. SSAT reserves the right to charge an administrative fee if delivery dates(s) are changed by the customer.
Photography, Filming and Audio Recording
SSAT may record photographs / videos / audio recordings at events. These may be used for the following purposes:
- live blogging via social media
- reporting the event via SSAT websites and publications, or in SSAT press releases
- promoting similar events in future, via any medium, including publication in third-party journals or other media
- general marketing and promotion of SSAT’s business, via any medium, including publication in third-party journals or other media
- transferred to your employer for their own promotional purposes.

You have the legal right to object to any or all of the above uses of your image. To do so please speak to any member of SSAT staff at the event (who will ask you to record your objection in writing), or contact SSAT via
dataprotection@ssatuk.co.uk.
Pride in London Terms and Conditions
Pride in London celebrates a diverse community. All participants are required to agree to the Code of Conduct to be part of the parade.
Where schools are bringing students under the age of 18:
- the nominated lead for the school group on Saturday 6 July must be an adult with a current, enhanced DBS certificate.
- the nominated lead is responsible for ensuring the schools safeguarding and risk assessment policies are followed.
It is the responsibility of the school to ensure that any photography and video permissions are sought as required. SSAT will not be taking photography and video footage however the high-profile nature of Pride in London does mean that this will be occurring during the parade.
Successful individuals and groups will come representing their own school, but march under the joint banner of SSAT.
- when submitting the application for places please ensure that your schools Headteacher is aware the school is being represented at Pride in London
- any cost incurred by school individuals and groups is the responsibility of the school. SSAT is not responsible for coordinating school travel to and from the parade, accommodation or food.
