SSAT Primary Webinar – Ofsted inspections under the EIF

Ofsted have announced a phased return over the spring terms with monitoring visits taking place in terms 3 and 4 and graded inspections recommencing in the summer term. To support leaders, Sophie Powell, Executive Headteacher at Fairview Primary School and The Compass Partnership of Schools, along with Ross Silcock, Headteacher at Wingfield Primary School hosted a webinar for the Primary Network to share their experiences.

Through her role as Executive Headteacher, Sophie experienced four inspections in the period from December 2019 until inspections were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ross’ school was inspected at the end of January 2020. Both leaders talk about the process and address delegates’ questions.
