Whether you are interested in starting your individual journey to Lead Practitioner (LP) accreditation or looking to establish a cohort of your own change agents, this webinar will show how LP accreditation informs this process of improvement and provides an opportunity to bring along and ask any questions you may have.

Most LPs on the accreditation journey are concerned with driving improvements in teaching and learning, improvements that should be both sustainable and scalable. It has often been said that the only constant in education is change, so schools need ‘change agents’, those practitioners who take responsibility for an aspect of school improvement, gather the evidence required to gain collective ownership, and implement more effective aspects of teaching and learning within their own context.

An aspirant LP uses the framework of LP standards to build a portfolio of impact in improving teaching and learning through the professional development of colleagues.

LP accreditation supports, guides and challenges aspirant LPs in developing themselves through developing others with an emphasis on sustainable change and empowerment of colleagues to maintain the improvements far beyond lead practitioner accreditation.

Who is it for?

This briefing is intended for all those who are considering the LP accreditation for themselves or for a school cohort. We ask attendees to please read through the LP brochure beforehand, as a basic understanding of LP is needed in order to make the most out of the session.
